General Policies and Information

Fees/Payment:
Please contact our office for current fees. Package pricing is available. Payment is due at time of treatment. We accept local checks, cash, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

First-time Patients:
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill out the necessary forms, if you haven't done so already. Your first appointment will include a thorough interview and examination by your acupuncturist. We will go over your past and current health history, in addition to discussing what you hope to achieve with acupuncture.  You will be evaluated by both Western and Oriental methods. Please plan on about two hours for your first appointment. Subsequent appointments will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

We have gowns available if we need you to remove some clothing to access some acupuncture points on the body.

Cancellation Policy:
Your time and ours is valuable. Please allow 24 hours' notice for cancellation of appointments. This allows us to schedule someone else in your cancelled time slot. Appointments cancelled without 24 hours' notice will be billed $25.

Personal Conduct:
ANY sexual remarks, misconduct, or advances will discontinue the appointment immediately and the full price for the service will still be owed. We have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Insurance Information:
The clinic is not a provider within any insurance network. Upon request, we can provide you paperwork to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that not all health plans cover acupuncture, and deductibles may apply.

Silence Please:
We ask that all cell phones and other communication devices be turned off prior to your treatment.

Your Privacy is Important:
Patient information and records are private and confidential, as outlined by HIPAA regulations. All patients receive written notice of privacy policies at their initial appointment.
