Services

At Pivotal Point Acupuncture & Wellness Center, we provide a number of holistic and complementary treatments to promote healing and well-being. Our services include acupuncture, therapeutic massage, digestive and nutritional support through the use of herbal and enzyme supplements, and craniosacral therapy.

Oriental medicine is the oldest continually practiced healthcare system in the world. Oriental healing modalities include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, and Tui Na (Chinese therapeutic massage). This has been the primary form of medicine used in many Asian countries. Acupuncturists at Pivotal Point are trained in Traditional Chinese Medical theory. Additional training in digestive health and craniosacral therapy makes us stand out from the rest.

  • Acupuncture - Acupuncture uses hair-thin, flexible needles, inserted into specific points on the body to activate the body's own healing powers.
  • Tui Na Therapeutic Massage
  • Digestive Health - Nutrition and the ability to digest your food is very important to normal functioning of the body. Your ability to heal, your energy level, your ability to sleep, and more can be linked to your nutrition.
  • Herbal Medicine - Herbal medicine is a powerful system that uses natural medicinals to treat numerous common complaints.
  • Craniosacral Therapy - Craniosacral therapy is taught by Upledger Institute International.
  • Electroacupuncture
  • Moxibustion
  • Cupping
  • Guasha

We do not diagnose disease. Rather, we use "pattern identification" to find the root cause of health problems. Treatments are designed to identify the cause of the symptoms, restore normal function, and encourage the body to heal itself. We evaluate and treat the body, mind, and spirit together. Diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices are assessed and recommendations are made to support treatments. See our disclaimer for more information.

"Anticipate things that may grow thorny,
while they are still easy to manage,
and do things that would become momentous,
while they are still insignificant."

~ Lao Tzu,
Chinese poet and philosopher
